Text to Sail, operated by Text2Sail, sends text messages to Port Townsend small-boat sailors who subscribe. Messages announce sailing outings posted by other subscribers and give updates about outings you join. The service is free and contains no advertising.
You subscribe by texting SAIL (or any message) to (877) 360-6751 and replying with a display name. By doing so you agree to receive recurring text messages from Text to Sail at that number. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency varies with how often people go sailing: at most 2 new-sail announcements per day, plus updates for outings you've joined and replies to your own messages. We don't send announcements between 9pm and 7am Pacific.
Text to Sail doesn't charge anything. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You'll get one message confirming you're unsubscribed and no further messages. Reply START to subscribe again. Reply HELP for help, or email henryrose@gmail.com. To snooze announcements without unsubscribing, reply PAUSE.
